Led by CEO Nathan Lyken, In May 2024, spayce was born out of the intrigue in wondering what like-minded people were around him. Sitting in his bedroom, he decided that he'd try and search for these individuals, going on LinkedIn, Facebook groups, and Instagram hashtags, but nothing was found.
“There must be a way for me to find someone like me, without jumping through all of these hoops?” This question lingered on Nathan's mind until a lightbulb moment struck.
Creating a niche social media was the first and only idea; it sparked the creative and entrepreneurial side. Nathan wanted to make sure that other people around the world who felt exactly like him (Lost, lonely, uninspired and disconnected) were able to connect with other entrepreneurs, investors and collaborators in one tidy ecosystem. The 'spayce.' Ecosystem.
In March 2025, Nathan was joined by current Co-Founder John Wilson, who came on board as the lead Software Engineer. John helped bring the app to life, throught the MVP cycle to the final launch product. Through countless iterations and multiple Beta builds, we are so close to final launch.

I am an experienced Sales and Business Development professional, with an extra background in UX/UI Design and business management. My creativity, vision and discipline are what help drive the team forward.
I take on the responsibility of ensuring great end-user experiences, feedback, sustainable practices and marketing our product. I just as much as my team want spayce. to be a global success. But we can't get there without YOU.
In other words, I am running a charitable organisation in my local constituency in order to improve the lives of our younger generation by introducing the importance of tech and entrepreneurship and the role they play in social mobility.
JOHN WILSON
Lead Software Engineer
I'm a Computer Science graduate from the University of Westminster and Co-Founder of Spayce, where I help shape the vision, strategy, and technology behind the platform. With a strong background in app development and React Native, I focus on creating seamless, engaging digital experiences that connect people in new ways.
As a co-founder, I enjoy building ideas from the ground up, combining technical expertise with creativity to turn vision into reality.
Outside of Spayce, I'm passionate about the outdoors, especially kayaking, and I'm also a DJ, blending rhythm and flow into everything I do.
